Friday, February 2nd

Shannon Pot, source of Shannon & Brigid’s Well, Oughterard, Co. Leitrim

Within Co. Cavan, the source of the River Shannon, that flows through Ireland, once said to be the fertility of Ireland, is a beautiful place to visit. During the afternoon we visit another Brigid well in Co. Leitrim. Close to this are a number of wonderful sites of sacred linked stories that we may also visit too.

Saturday, February 3rd

Morning at the coast, Co. Sligo and time out in Sligo town.

This day is truly your choice. Most of our visitors ask for “time out” on our beautiful coast or in one of our towns, or you could enjoy some of each. The weather of this day will surely inspire your choices.

Sunday February 4th

Imbolc at Tintean Clairseach, Setting the Path for the Labyrinth

Tintean Clairseach, home and hearth of the harps, is to be our ‘centre’ for our tours that will also include a small theatre. In addition we are building a garden Labyrinth.

Our cottage restoration is still under construction and should be ready for May 2008, but we wish and hope to capture the alignment of the Imbolc sunrise, the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, as this will set the pathway into the labyrinth we are to construct.

Those present will be invited to help us set additional alignments from this path that will help us to create the labyrinth. This will simply mean being present in a pattern that will form the eventual labyrinth. Your positioning, for a while, should prove to be quite a moving ritual more than being a task of service.

Of course, there will be the additions of small festivities and music to go along with this.
