Bards, Woods, Beach, Ireland Retreats, early Sept News

Hello everyone , a lot of things we are arranging, and I will try to get in what I can during this bulletin.

7th September, Sunday,
Bards In The Woods and On The Beach

This is happening just this coming Sunday due to exceptional September weather forecast.

Sunday, 7th September, 2014, sunny, clear, 18C, dry,
at Old Head Beach, west of Westport, in Co. Mayo

At Old Head Wood is an ancient Native Oak Wood that connects with the beach.

Here is a view of it, in the distance, from the Old Head beach.

There is a signed entrance on the beach

and this is a photo taken inside this old wood

The meet up time is a bit earlier, 2:00 pm, to take advantage of some of the low tide.

It is High Tide at 5:13 pm, so we get to see a bit more of the beach that is largely covered at High Tide. Low tide is 11:33 am.

There is also a wonderful Ice Cream Parlour there with terrific home made ice cream

Meet on the beach in front of the main car park,
the beach benches shown in the top photo here.

2 pm !!! - Sunday :-)

Here is a custom Google Map to help you find us
indicating where to park, where to meet, where to walk to the woods.

Vacation Retreats?

During 2015 Tree, Water and Fae lore will feature strong in Vacation Retreats, showing how this lore relates to the changing seasons landscape around us and how personal longings can be fulfilled.

Lots of visualization, creative writing and journaling, good local food, local crafted beverages, and merriment

We also have a new Retreat Accommodation owner we are starting to work with in 2015. Beautiful place with mature native trees.

More will be revealed in later newsletters ... :-)

Many thanks for your continued interest and support.
Claire and I truly appreciate this and talk about this often.
